Who We Support

We provide compassionate, community-based residential care for children and youth with developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, emotional and behavioural challenges, and related conditions. Many of the young people we support face complex needs such as:

  • Aggressive or self-injurious behaviours
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Social and communication challenges
  • Limited life skills development
  • Difficulties with transitions and independence

Our Approach

We offer structured, long-term residential support in safe, family-like homes where youth can grow, heal, and thrive. Our homes are part of local neighbourhoods, promoting inclusion and a sense of belonging. Each youth receives a personalized care plan developed collaboratively with staff, families (where appropriate), and the youth themselves.

  • 24/7 Residential Support: Safe, supportive housing in a structured environment
  • Individualized Life Skills Training: Cooking, hygiene, communication, budgeting, and more
  • Educational & Vocational Support: Home-based learning and connections with local schools
  • Behavioural Support: Functional behaviour assessments, personalized behaviour plans, and therapeutic interventions
  • Therapeutic Services: Access to counselling, group work, and wellness programming
  • Crisis Intervention: Using the CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) model to ensure safety through the least restrictive means
  • Community Integration: Participation in recreational and social activities that build confidence and social skills
  • Transition Planning: From the day of intake, we work toward long-term independence, with gradual steps tailored to the individual’s progress
  • Health Holistic Care: Addressing emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in every aspect of support
